In 1928, William J. Anderson started the Anderson Roofing Company.

We are a family business that caters to all your roofing and sheet metal needs. We work on residential houses, apartments, and condominiums, commercial and industrial buildings. Our specialty roofing services are residential Tile and Slate systems.
  • A new roof is an investment. It adds value to your home depending on your choice of not only type and style bu,t most importantly, your installer! The choice is yours. A licensed, high quality company with workmanship guarantees, or a "low bid" unlicensed "here today gone tomorrow" company whose guarantee is meaningless in that they have been in business less time than their guarantee or cannot guarantee anything because they are no longer in business. Your choice can cost you a lot of your hard earned money!

  • Decisions, decisions! Will you install the same roof you had before or will you be courageous and try something new? Our experienced estimators will direct you to the best roof for your roofing dollar. They will help you avoid costly mistakes that others have made in choosing a roof product that they later regretted because it did not perform well. Or perhaps the roof did not fit the style of your home. .

  • We will encourage you to choose from the selection that is tried and true. Also, they will be happy to appraise you of the fact that you may not need a new roof at this time. Perhaps the roof is still serviceable and a repair will hold you for a few more years. We will be happy to advise you if that is the case. .

  • Anderson Roofing & Sheet Metal Company guarantees high quality and a guarantee to back up our work. Remember, you get what you pay for!.

  • About our BUILT UP ROOFS (Tar & Gravel / Modified Bitumen)
    · We install 4 and 5 ply built up roofs, including modified bitumen, that has a life expectancy of 20 to 25 years.
    · All of our built up roofs are plied together with hot asphalt.
    · We use gravel for a long lasting surface and a Class "A" fire rating on many of our built up roofs.
    · Some of our customers prefer a granulated surface, so we use modified bitumen as a finish sheet.
    · We do not torch on this product. We apply with hot asphalt in addition to several plies of ply sheet to provide you with a long lasting roof. .

  • About our ASPHALT COMPOSITION SHINGLE ROOFS
    · Most of the composition roofs we install are 30 to 40 year dimensional type shingles.
    · This type of roof performs best in the long run. They last longer and do better in the wind and weather conditions of the Bay Area.
    · These shingles come in a variety of appealing colors.
    · They carry a Class "A" fire rating.
