Online Privacy Policy: Informed Choice
ARCBAC has put in place the following Online Privacy Policy to protect user
identifiable information. This policy covers ARCBAC and its subsidiaries, and
applies to all user identifiable information that ARCBAC obtains when a user
registers for or uses and ARCBAC online service, including visiting an ARCBAC
owned and controlled web site ("ARCBAC Web Site").
ARCBAC protects online user identifiable information as
follows:
Disclosure: ARCBAC will not sell, trade, or disclose to third parties any
user identifiable information derived from the registration for or use of an
ARCBAC online service - including user names and addresses - without the consent
of the user (except as required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal
process or in the case of imminent physical harm to the user or others). When
ARCBAC uses other agents, contractors or companies to perform services on its
behalf, ARCBAC will ensure that the company protects your user identifiable
information consistent with this Policy. If ARCBAC includes your name and any
other user identifiable information in a directory that ARCBAC creates from
information we receive as an online service provider, ARCBAC will give you the
opportunity to have your information excluded from that directory. Business
directories that ARCBAC creates may, however, contain information obtained from
other sources.
Collection and Use: ARCBAC will collect and use user identifiable
information for billing purposes, to provide and change service, to anticipate
and resolve problems with your service, or to create and inform you of services
that better meet your needs. This means that ARCBAC may use your user
identifiable information, in conjunction with information available from other
sources, to market new services to you that we think will be of interest to you,
but we will not disclose your user identifiable information to third parties who
want to market products to you.
Security: ARCBAC has implemented technology and security features and
strict policy guidelines to safeguard the privacy of your user identifiable
information from unauthorized access or improper use, and we will continue to
enhance our security procedures as new technology becomes available.
E-mail Contents: ARCBAC will not read or disclose to third parties
private e-mail communications that are transmitted using ARCBAC services except
as required to operate the service or as otherwise authorized by law.
Improper Conduct: ARCBAC may also use user identifiable information to
investigate and help prevent potentially unlawful activity or activity that
threatens the network or otherwise violates the user agreement for that service.
User Concerns: If you are a web user with concerns about the ARCBAC
online privacy or its implementation you may contact us at 1-510-635-8800.
Changes in Practices: ARCBAC will keep this Policy current. ARCBAC will
inform you of any changes that we make.
